"If you're looking for great skiing, a lively town and a short transfer, then Les Gets is a perfect choice - it's easy to see why it's one of the most popular choices for British skiers. Les Gets was the first overseas resort I skied and it's still up there as my favourite!"

Dining in Les Gets

There is no shortage of dining options available in Les Gets. You'll find plenty good quality restaurants, including many serving local Savoyard specialities. Our favourites include Le Vieux Chene, La Fruitière des Perrières and Le Flambeau.  Le Tyrol is a good choice if you're looking for pizzas and O Kariboo is famous for its burgers.

La Biskatcha at the Hotel La Marmotte offers excellent dishes from the grill, or for a gourmet experience, check out La Ferme de Montagne.

Located on the slopes on the Mont Chéry side of the resort, La Grande Ourse is highly receommended by Ski Independence staff for a lunch to remember. On a clear day there are stunning views across to Mont Blanc to accompany the excellent food (booking is advisable).
