"If you're looking for great skiing, a lively town and a short transfer, then Les Gets is a perfect choice - it's easy to see why it's one of the most popular choices for British skiers. Les Gets was the first overseas resort I skied and it's still up there as my favourite!"

Dining in Les Gets

Restaurants are abound throughout Les Gets offering a range of cuisine - bookings are recommended.

Good quality restaurants, including many serving local Savoyard specialities, can be found at Le Vieux CheneLe Tourbillon,  La Fruitière des Perrières and Le Flambeau.  Le Tyrol is a good choice if you're looking for pizzas and Le Schuss also offers pizzas and crepes. O Kariboo gets glowing reviews for its burgers.

For a break from Savoyard cuisine, try grill bistro Le Biskatcha at the Hotel La Marmotte or for a gourmet experience, check out La Ferme de Montagne.

Located on the slopes on the Mont Chéry side of the resort, La Grande Ourse is highly receommended by Ski Independence staff for a lunch to remember; it also offers a skidoo service and on a clear day there are the stunning views across to Mont Blanc to accompany the excellent food (booking is advisable).
