Ski Independence are a leading UK Tour Operator selling tailor-made ski holidays to North America, Europe and Japan.
Based in Edinburgh, we sell holidays to clients throughout the UK either directly or through our partner travel agents.
Our business is growing and we require a Ski Specialist to join our busy, dynamic and friendly team on a full-time basis.
We’re looking for positive individuals, capable of working well under pressure and committed to providing exceptional levels of customer service. A proven track record or experience in a sales environment will be an advantage.
Duties include answering telephone or online enquiries from direct clients and travel agents and building appropriate tailor-made itineraries based on client requirements. Additional duties include making bookings, taking payments and ensuring any subsequent enquiries by clients are handled in an efficient and friendly manner.
Our team are all passionate about winter sports, so applicants with an enthusiasm for skiing and snowboarding will be preferred as will individuals with a keen interest in travel. Full training will be given on our in-house reservations system and Galileo, the airline GDS we use to source flights.

Salary OTE £20,000 +
Full Time European Ski Administrator (pref. French speaking)
Ski Independence is one of the UK’s leading Tour Operators selling tailor-made ski holidays to Europe, North America and Japan. Based in Edinburgh, we sell holidays to clients throughout the UK either directly or through our travel agent partners. There is a European Ski Administrator role available in our busy team.
We’re looking for a French speaking team player with a keen eye for detail, capable of working well under pressure and committed to providing exceptional levels of customer service. The successful candidate will report to the European Product Manager.
Duties will include:
- Distributing and replying to emails from a central inbox
- Running reports and organising data
- Assisting the European Product Manager with the Quality Control process
- Sourcing and updating resort and property information for the Ski Independence brochure/website
The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and also demonstrate a high level of spoken and written French (fluency preferred). Excellent communication skills are also required. Knowledge of the travel industry and in particular knowledge of the ski industry will be an advantage. Full training will be given on our in house reservations and booking management system.
