"Méribel is located in the centre of the 3 Valleys ski area, so you have easy access to a vast amount of world-class skiing. Méribel itself is lively with lots of bars and restaurants and, although purpose-built, retains Savoyard charm "

Dining in Méribel

Two of the best restaurants for traditional Savoyard food in Méribel are La Kouisena and La Fromagerie. Pizzeria L'Igloo is a good value option serving pizzas, pasta and burgers and La Galette, as its name suggests, serves savoury crêpes.

Aux Petits Oignons is a cosy restaurant renowned for its high standard of cooking and La Taverne is lively and atmospheric with an innovative and extensive menu.

At the higher end of the scale, Chez Kiki is the place to go for steaks as well as other meats cooked over an open fire. The highly-regarded Blanchot up at Altiport has a good menu selection. L'Ekrin is the Michelin-starred restaurant at the 5-star Hotel Le Kaila and offers exquisite gourmet dining in an intimate modern setting; its sister restaurant Le 80 offers a more informal option.

La Terrasse at the Lodge du Village in Méribel Village is especially popular with families and offers pizza and pasta dishes.
