With much of its original hand-hewn log structure and décor still in place, Deer Lodge is the classic definition of rustic mountain accommodation. Located beside the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, just 7 km from the Lake Louise ski area and served by a regular complimentary shuttle bus.
Built in 1923 originally as a tea room, the lodge opened as a hotel in 1925 and was completely renovated, restored and winterised in 1985. Today it is a modern, boutique lodge with some amazing facilities - expect a warm welcome, stunning views, fantastic cuisine and first-class service.

The Deer Lodge features 71 rooms which are an eclectic mix of modern and historical. Lodge and Tower rooms are located in the historic wing of the lodge. Lodge Rooms may be set up in one Double or two Twin bed configurations. All rooms have complimentary WiFi. Please note that there are no TVs in the rooms, and there is no elevator or air-conditioning. Think quiet, intimate and historic!
