Dining in Jackson Hole

Making an advance booking is strongly suggested, particularly between 7pm and 9pm, and during the popular Christmas/New Year and Easter periods, and for larger groups.
The Grill at Amangani
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Grill’s dining room seats 65 and is imbued with an air of stylish comfort, enhanced by its wood-burning fireplace and redwood-panelled walls and ceiling. Stunning mountain views can be enjoyed from the windows, and original artwork adorns the walls. Seating includes benches, and rawhide and rattan chairs. Tables are of black terrazzo and the floor a combination of carpet and slate. The Grill’s menu showcases innovative American cuisine, including steaks, chops, seafood and locally sourced organic foods. There’s also a Chef’s Daily Special. The intimate bar features rugged sandstone columns, a scattering of wrought-iron stools, and a cosy window side setting of tables and chairs.
Calico Restaurant
Calico is housed in a historic building, which dates back to 1905, when it was originally built as a Mormon church. It’s fascinating history is reflected in its current form, on entering, guests will feel like they’ve been transported back to another time and place. Gardens full of flowers border the walkways below the deck, from where diners enjoy their meal accompanied by lovely views of both the gardens, and the Teton Mountains in the distance. Inside, guests are seated beneath a raised, beamed ceiling. The Italian-styled dining room has an airy, casual ambiance with the additional feature of an open kitchen. The bar is sectioned off from the dining room by means of three large, stained-glass windows calling to mind the building’s previous existence. These dramatic windows were locally crafted and represent western culture, extending in Calico’s case to great food!
Gamefish
Treat yourself to a gourmet meal at the cosy Gamefish restaurant, honoured by the Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence in 2004. In addition to serving a comprehensive breakfast daily, Gamefish also has a creative dinner menu, showcasing, among other options, Oregon country beef, wapiti, native fish, and other regional specialities.
The Gun Barrel
Located just one mile from the world famous Jackson Town Square, and a short drive from both the Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, the Gun Barrel is a Jackson Hole favourite with locals and visitors alike. The restaurant has a hunting lodge ambiance and its menu features steaks and game dishes, including buffalo ribs and velvet elk, all cooked to perfection over an open river-rock mesquite grill.
Mangy Moose
For an unforgettable meal out with family or friends, head to the Mangy Moose! Their menu features steaks, prime rib, fresh fish, chicken and pasta, accompanied by guests’ choice of fine wine, and presented with a warm hospitality by the friendly and efficient staff. A popular salad bar is included in the price of each entrée. Vintage memorabilia jostling for space on the ceiling and walls add to the Mangy Moose’s fun and festive environment.
The Million Dollar Cowboy Steak House
Western art and evidence of cowboy heritage abound in this friendly, rustic steakhouse, which has been in operation since 1995. Their menu includes salads and pasta dishes as well as steaks and game.
Snake River Brewing Company
Come and relax at the Snake River Brewing Company, in the heart of the Teton Mountains. After an energizing day spent in the great outdoors, what better option is there than to partake of a thirst-quenching beverage or a delicious meal? The Snake River Brewing Company offers both, in abundance! Open since 1994, this venue has been a local favourite ever since. The Brewery has always been family-owned and operated and the dishes are all homemade. They even have their own bakery.
Their wide-ranging menu includes pizza and pasta specials as well as sandwiches, salads, soups and desserts. The food is reasonably priced and the restaurant offers a seven dollar lunch menu daily from 11.30am till 3pm. Great Happy Hour deals are available between 4pm and 6pm. Enjoy a homemade pretzel or chill out at the bar with an award-winning brew. The Snake River Brewing Company‘s brewery has been showered with awards and recognition for its exemplary standards of brewing.
Westbank Grill
A western ambiance pervades the friendly and comfortable Westbank Grill, with its open kitchen and large fireplace. Another fireplace is found outside, on the heated terrace, where diners benefit from wonderful, slope-side vistas of Rendezvous Mountain. An extensive wine list is available to accompany the Westbank’s menu, which showcases fresh, seasonal offerings of grilled meats, game, and fish.
Wild Sage
Recognised as one of only two restaurants in Wyoming and Montana to be honoured with the AAA four diamond award, the Wild Sage Restaurant in the Rusty Parrot Lodge has been featured recently on the Food Network, in the New York Times, Elle Décor, The Chicago Sun Times, USA Today and the Cowboys and Indians magazine.
Serving superior regional cuisine, employing only the freshest and finest, often-organic produce and ingredients, come and see for yourself why the Wild Sage merits such recognition! The intimate dining room offers diners a front seat view of its exhibition-style kitchen in the Rusty Parrot Lodge’s Gathering Room.
