Après-ski in Beaver Creek covers every possibility, from a refreshing drink straight from the slopes to dining at award-winning restaurants serving gourmet food.
One of the newest restaurants in town is the Metropolitan. It's located right between St James Place and The Park Hyatt and serves good breakfasts, even better coffee and from après-ski onwards offers fantastic tapas and many hand picked wines by the glass.
For that post-mountain drink, pick the locals’ brains regarding where to find the best groomed runs, or powder, head over to the Coyote Café, a favourite haunt of the locals at the end of the working day, including the Beaver Creek Ski Patrol. The Coyote Café serves plentiful Mexican dishes at reasonable cost, washed down with draught beer specials.
The Dusty Boot Saloon specializes in 46 ounce margaritas and an extensive choice of tequilas to choose from.
If you’re hoping for some late night fun, the Park Hyatt’s Whiskey Elk Bar stays open til 2am and serves wonderful bourbons, single malt whisky and wine by the glass (and the bottle!). The Whiskey Elk Bar also features live entertainment by local performers.
For one of the best sun traps in the village check out the Chophouse. Admire the sun’s setting rays while you sip your drinks, perhaps enjoying some live music. A magician entertains the whole family six afternoons a week. A great choice for an evening meal too, the well priced food is delicous.
