Dining in San Cassiano
The region of Alto Adige is proud of its cuisine and hospitality and you won’t be disappointed by the culinary options available.
On the slopes, look out for the mountain restaurants involved in the “Sciare con gusto” (Skiing with flavour) initiative, where you will find top quality gourmet dishes on offer, designed by some of the finest chefs in Italy. Our particular favourite was Ütia de Bioch.
In the village there is the 3 Michelin-starred St. Hubertus restaurant and also a more informal wine bar and grill (both part of the Hotel Rosa Alpina) and a selection of other charming restaurants. Slightly outside the village is the Hotel Ciasa Salares with an intimate wine cellar where you can enjoy a meat fondue whilst sampling wines from the cellar’s extensive wine list. There is even a cheese room and chocolate room where you can organise a tasting.
