Après Ski in Flaine
Flaine's main source of après can be found on one of the many sunny mountain terraces. There are also plenty of bars and restaurants lining the base of the slopes were you can unwind at the end of the day. This lively snow front usually has a great atmosphere and is a great spot for catching the sun in the warmer winter months.
In Flaine Forêt, Le Diamant Noir is a popular spot with a good happy hour, regular live bands, pool tables and other games. Le Sabaudia is another café/bar/restaurant option.
In Flaine Forum, Brasserie Les Cimes has a large south-facing terrace for après-ski gatherings once the lifts close, and a lively bar with pool table indoors. This place boasts great value food and drinks with friendly staff and good service.
La Grange is the place to be for hot chocolate and crepes. Naturally with top sellers like that, it is a family friendly après spot.
As the evening draws in most would find La Perdrix Noire (Flaine Forêt) and the White Pub (Flaine Forum) to be the liveliest establishments. With the White Pub drawing in the biggest crowds due mainly to its suitability to everyone from noisy families to quiet couples. The White Pub is large in size with a mainly British feel and serves a wide range of beers, with some good offers during happy hour. They often have great live bands playing, and show most popular sports games on big screens.
For a change of scenery if you’re with the family, head to Galaxy Bowling in Flaine Forêt where you can enjoy a few drinks at the bar while the kids hit the lanes. The complex is open from 5pm (2pm on bad weather days) to 3am and also has a games room, pool tables and large screens that broadcast live sport.
