Swiss Rail

When arriving in Switzerland, Swiss Rail offers an easy and relaxing transfer to your chosen resort.

Take the train from the airport railway station at Geneva & Zurich straight to the mountains, or if you're arriving into Basel airport, all you need to do is take a train into the city and then transfer onto the onward train. You'll never have long to wait, with trains departing at half hourly or hourly intervals.

When travelling with Swiss Rail, you can also arrange to have all your baggage transported directly to your destination from every international airport. For your return journey, you can check-in your bags at the train station.

What's more, children under 15 years travel completely FREE on Swiss Rail journeys.

Onboard Swiss Rail

All Swiss Rail trains have onboard air-conditioned coaches, with buffet & at-seat trolley and bar facilities available on most trains.

You can travel in either 1st or 2nd class on Swiss Rail. The 2nd class provides you with a customary high standard of comfort you can expect from the Swiss Travel System. In 1st class, you will benefit from wider and more comfortable seats and, frequently also a lower number of passengers and, consequently, a quieter coach.
