"Banff is one of a kind, and is one of my favourite ski destinations. The scenery is uniquely stunning, there’s three great ski areas and the town is really lively with a good mix of restaurants, bars and shopping."

Après Ski in Banff

Banff has the potential for some lively after hours activity, and there are a large number of pubs serving the familiar and the unfamiliar – a pint of ‘Canadian’ is highly recommended.

Come sundown, the Banff après-ski starts to crank up. From 'crazy Canuck' style at Wild Bill's and the Rose and Crown, to sipping a CilantroSting or a classic Martini in the Ramsay Lounge at the Fairmont Banff Springs.

There are also many great value, unpretentious restaurants – Coyotes is a hugely popular local hangout at any time of day, breakfast here is a gargantuan feast. Alternatively, the Saltlik is very stylish and a particular favourite for fine Alberta beef, and their chocolate pudding is absurdly delicious.

Whatever takes your fancy is pretty much on offer in Banff - sushi, fine wines, micro-brews, elk steaks, it's all here.

Finish your night off at the 'Dancing Sasquatch', Banff's favourite nightclub, but remember it'll soon be time to ski again!
