Time for a short blast of fun to cheer up the January blues! Skiing doesn't always have to be serious... Ski resorts certainly know how to put on a party and we've just received news that Canyons in Utah is holding the 6th Annual Spring Grüv at the end of March this year. Not only does the festival involve 10 days of free concerts, including an appearance by legendary band Toots & The Maytals, but they also hold the renowned Pond Skimming Contest - this video sums up the atmosphere: In neighbouring state, Colorado, you'll find events such as the Cowboy Downhill in Steamboat, which took place a few days ago and celebrates 40 years in 2014!
