Dog Sledding

Explore the wilds of Panorama’s backcountry as you experience this traditional form of transportation. Relax and admire the scenery from the passenger seat as your experienced guide drives the dogs, and maybe get the chance to take the reins yourself and “mush” the dogs on your return trip!

Nordic Skiing

Over twenty kilometres of groomed trails are available for cross-country skiing, taking skiers through the scenic Greywolf Golf Course and along the Toby Creek. A variety of trails offers varying degrees of difficulty, catering to all skiing levels from beginner to advanced.

Heli Skiing

With forty-one years of fresh powder track experience in North America, and certification by the Association of Mountain Guides, RK Heli-Ski welcomes skiers and snowboarders to the pristine Purcell Mountains. A team of professional guides will assess the weather conditions and then lead you to the best ski area for an outstanding and adventurous day. You will have at your disposal 1,500 square kilometre/930 square miles of spectacular terrain, beautiful scenery, expansive glaciers and quality glade skiing.

Trapper’s Cabin Sleigh Ride and Cookout

For a great activity that will be a huge hit with every member of the family, relax together on an exciting sleigh ride along snow-covered winter trails. Travel along the banks of Toby Creek and take in the spectacular views of the Rocky and Purcell Mountains, and then enjoy a roaring bonfire, steaming mountain chilli, hot chocolate and those inimitable roasted marshmallows!
