Panorama Ski Holiday Guide
"I visited Panorama a few years ago with my family and it ticked all the boxes for everyone - not an easy thing to do! Great quality accommodation and skiing to suit all levels - I'll just have to go back another time to try out the heli-skiing!" Nick, Product Manager
Panorama is one of British Columbia's most popular ski holiday destinations and offers a heady mix of over 2,800 acres of terrain plus a massive choice of superb ski-in/ski-out lodging.
Panorama Mountain Village has a laid back feel and the ski hotels and condos that we offer are either ski-in/ski-out or slopeside which makes everything super convenient. The resort offers and number of dining, shopping and apres ski options and they have evening activities for children and excursions including snowmobiling.
Skiing in PanoramaPanorama is the perfect choice for beginners, intermediates and families, has uncrowded slopes and lift queues are a rarity. There's a fantastic ski school and Panorama sells itself on being a relaxed, hassle-free ski resort to spend quality time with family and friends. Of course there's always terrain to keep experts happy and we'd highly recommend Taynton Bowl or for the very adventurous, Panorama is the base for access to one of the world's largest heli-ski area. Panorama features over 4,000 vertical feet and 2,847 patrolled acres of beginner, intermediate and expert terrain accessed via 9 lifts. Skiers and boarders won't want to miss Panorama's newest and largest terrain expansion ever - Taynton Bowl. Formely exclusive heli-skiing terrain, Taynton Bowl is now lift accessed backcountry style skiing incorporated into Panorama's official boundary. Panorama has a good choice for freeriders at the Showzone Park including a halfpipe, tabletops, rails and boxes. For those looking to find their freeride feet then there is a Small-Medium Park, which has all the same facilities of the Showzone Park but smaller versions. The fun doesn’t have to stop when the lifts shut as both parks are located in the night time skiing area. |
