Snowbird is pressed between the steep jagged mountains of Little Cottonwood Canyon - just 40 minutes from Salt Lake City. It is by far the most photogenic of the North American resorts - the dramatic modernist style of the buildings stands boldly against the backdrop of the rugged alpine scenery and the resort projects an air of sixties 'Bond' glamour. Skiers can now enjoy over 5,000 continuous acres of legendary downhill terrain at Snowbird and Alta on the one combined ticket.
