Copper Ski Holiday Guide
Copper Mountain offers world-class skiing in an outstanding setting in the heart of Colorado ski country.
Copper sits at 9,712 ft. and is one of Colorado’s highest resorts with an outstanding snow record. As you head up the mountain from the village, the skiing just gets better and better.
There's an outstanding ski school plus a dedicated family ski zone - Copper is a great mountain for kids.
The Copper condos we offer are all centrally located and we offer a choice of 'Gold' or 'Platinum' standard.
Skiing in CopperCopper has great runs for all abilities, with an attractive mix of wooded, gladed & open slopes. The mountain naturally divides itself into areas suitable for beginners, intermediates and beginners. As a rule of thumb, as you look at the mountain, the easiest runs are on the right and it gets progressively steeper the further left you go. For beginners there is an excellent learning area at Union Creek with a wide array of green slopes on which to progress. The children’s ski school is first class, and it has an excellent dedicated Family Ski Zone where proud parents watch on as their progeny amble down the slopes in complete safety. With top to bottom runs suitable for intermediates, there is no shortage of choice of terrain to explore. Contray to belief there is a lot of good expert terrain at Copper. This can be found in the Spaulding and Copper bowls, ranging from moderate to seriously steep - not for the faint hearted! |
