Chinaillon - Le Grand Bornand Ski Holiday Guide

“If you are looking for a great 4* accommodation close to the slopes at a great value and lots of green and blue slopes for beginners and early intermediate skiers then Le Grand Bornand should be on top of your list!” Cathy, Reservations Consultant.

Located only 40 miles from Geneva, the picturesque resort of Chinaillon is easily accessible for those travelling from the UK by plane or car.

The traditional villages of Chinaillon, Le Grand Bornand and Le Clusaz make up the extensive Aravis ski area and all three are linked by bus and covered by the same lift pass to offer a large area of terrain which is suitable for all levels of skier and snowboarder and is perfect for families.

Off the slopes Chinaillon offers a great range of activities and a selection of good restaurants and bars.

Skiing in Chinaillon-Le Grand Bornand

Le Grand Bornand is covered by the Aravis lift pass, and offers a much smaller more intimate experience than La Clusaz. The slopes can be accessed from either the outskirts of the village or from the satellite village of Le Chinaillon.

There are plenty of good cruising blue & red intermediate runs and also good beginners slopes, making it an ideal resort for families.
