Argentière Ski Holiday Guide
"Not many people know about Argentiere, which is great for those who do! I think it's a quieter, cheaper alternative to Chamonix, with all the same first class skiing on your doorstep!" Claire, Product Manager.
Birthplace of Alpine history and home to magnificent Mont Blanc, the Chamonix valley provides unforgettable scenery, skiing and life-style.
It's twelve ski areas offer varying pistes for all standards of skier and boarder as well as some of the best high altitude skiing in Europe. Argentiere is a fantastic mountain base resort at the foot of the Grands Montets Glacier.
Offering easy access to the skiing, Argentière is an ideal base for keen skiers and has all the local facilities you will need for your stay.
Skiing in ArgentièreArgentière ski resort is one of several smaller resorts that make up the Chamonix Valley ski area and ski terrain suitable for all levels. The Argentière ski area has 30kms of pistes consisting of 16 runs that are suited for upper intermediate, advanced, and expert skiers and snowboarders. For alternative skiing, the Chamonix area encompasses five separate ski areas on one pass. If Argentiere's slopes are a little tough, nearby Le Tour, Brévent and Flégère have gentler beginner slopes, and Aigulle du Midi has more off-piste options. |
