Flight tickets

Our flight tickets are now issued as an electronic ‘e-ticket’. Note that we don't issue you with an e-ticket receipt.

Frequent flyer and airline membership cards

Please let us have your membership numbers and details - we will ensure these are added to your flight booking(s)

Special requests and meals

Should any of your party require a special meal such as vegetarian, kosher or child meal on the transatlantic sections of your flight booking then this must be booked at least 7 days in advance. Please let us know as soon as possible and we’ll ensure these items are added. If any of your party require special assistance we can arrange this at all airports – please call us so we can assess the correct level of assistance you require. If you have food allergies or are carrying an Epi-pen or injectable medication please call us for advice on 0131 243 8097.

United Airlines seating options

We automatically pre-book seats on each United Airlines flight for you wherever possible. It is very difficult to pre-book specific seats, although we will do our best. Certain seats are only allocated at check-in or can be pre-purchased prior to travel – these include bulkhead and emergency exit seats. Only a fixed number of seats on each aircraft are available for pre-booking – if we have managed to pre-book seats for you, your seat numbers will be clearly itemised on your enclosed itinerary. We cannot accept responsibility for the failure of the airline to honour our seating requests. Seating can be selected and modified using the online check-in facility.

Online Check-in 24 hours prior to departure

To check in online, please visit www.united.com. You will then be required to enter your United Airlines reference number (which will be included with your travel documents we send you) and the surname of the lead passenger. The facility allows you to pre-select your seats and print your boarding cards. We are on hand to help and advise you through any part of this process however, regretfully, we are not permitted to check-in online on your behalf. Online check-in opens 24hrs prior to flight departure.
