Après Ski in Verbier
Verbier boasts some of the best après-ski and nightlife in the Swiss Alps.
The Pub Mont-Fort, near the gondola, is a favorite of the British crowd. Good music and a welcome beer is a welcome first stop at the end of the day. Others alternatives include the Big Ben Pub nearer to the gondola station and The Nelson Pub nearer the resort centre. Le Fer à Cheval, halfway between the center of town and the gondola, also rocks after the lifts close. Find both Le Mouton Noir (Verbier's answer to La Folie Douce) and the Ice Cube Bar at the top of the Medran lift station for lively après-ski on the terraces.
After dinner, the Farm Club in the Hotel Nevai caters to a sophisticated crowd, many of visiting from Geneva, and is arguably the place to be seen in Verbier. Other popular spots include Farinet South, one of Verbier's most recent additions with DJs spinning the tunes unitl 4am, and Carve with its exclusive bar & nightclub, as well as a supper club (open between 19:30-22:30). Expect to pay a steep entry fee to many clubs, with drink prices to match once inside.
