Skiing in France
With its high altitude skiing, snow sure resorts and some of the largest ski areas in the world, it’s no surprise that France is the number one ski destination in Europe.
Whether you are looking for a short break in Chamonix or a family ski holiday in Flaine, France has resorts to suit all skiers. If you like to tick off the kilometres then head to the Three Valleys resorts of Courchevel, Méribel or Val Thorens where you will find over 600km of pistes. Or if you prefer small rustic traditional resorts then Les Gets & Morzine in the Portes du Soleil ski area, or Les Carroz and Samoëns in the Grand Massif, would be perfect. Les Arcs, in the Paradiski area, offers high quality ski-in/ski-out accommodation.
France has ski accommodation to suit all, from luxury self-catered ski apartments to fabulous ski-in/ski-out hotels. Ski Independence offers a huge choice of accommodation in a wide range of resorts.
