Les Arcs Ski Holidays
One of our favourite family-friendly resorts, scenic Les Arcs offers incredible access to the world-class Paradiski area. Alongside this high-altitude winter playground sit a choice of modern resort villages to bring you the perfect balance of excitement and relaxation.
Explore the slopes
With 200km of immaculate pistes to explore within the local Les Arcs ski area, you’ll find a lovely variety of wide runs both above and below the treeline right on your doorstep, including a great range of beginner slopes. Don’t miss the famous 7km descent from the summit of the Aiguille Rouge at 3,226m right down to the tiny hamlet of Villaroger at 1,200m – it’s one of the longest in Europe.
If cruising as many runs as possible during your ski holiday is your thing, you’ll adore the slick lift system – including the double decker Vanoise Express gondola linking Les Arcs with neighbouring La Plagne – that makes the wider 425km Paradiski area such a delight to explore.
Enjoy the resort
Les Arcs comprises four self-contained, contemporary bases, each named according to their altitude at 1600, 1800, 1950 and 2000 respectively, as well as the traditional villages of Peisey Vallandry. All are linked by a network of pistes and lifts, giving you ample opportunity to soak up the individual character of each.
Each purpose-built resort is largely traffic-free, with a wealth of facilities and activities to enjoy. Arc 1800 is where you’ll find the state-of-the-art Mille8 development with everything from an impressive aquatic leisure centre to toboggan runs and slalom courses. Arc 1950 is more tranquil, with fantastic family-friendly accommodation and facilities, while Arc 2000 is a perfect base for those seeking unrivalled access to the slopes every morning.
Where to stay
We feature a fantastic selection of accommodation in Arc 1950 and Arc 2000, all delivering easy access to the slopes, family-friendly facilities and stylish surroundings.
Choose from full-service 5-star luxury, ski-in/ski out convenience or cosy value for money across a beautiful range of hotels and apartments. Most properties boast their own wellness facilities, where you can happily revive tired legs after a fabulous day of skiing or snowboarding, and spectacular panoramic views of the valley below and the majestic snow-capped peaks above.
