World-Class Resort Catherine Hughes, Extras & After Sales Manager Europe

"Méribel is located in the centre of the 3 Valleys ski area, so you have easy access to a vast amount of world-class skiing. Méribel itself is lively with lots of bars and restaurants. However, if you’re looking for slightly quieter location I would recommend staying in Méribel Village in Les Fermes de Méribel. These apartments worked perfectly for our group and the facilities on hand were excellent."

Dining in Méribel & Mottaret

Two of the best restaurants for traditional Savoyard food in Méribel are La Kouisena and La Fromagerie. Evolution is a very stylish dark wood cyber-café/restaurant serving international food and Pizzeria L'Igloo is a good value option serving pizzas, pasta and burgers; La Galette is a wallet-pleasing restaurant offering, as its name suggest, savoury crêpes.

Aux Petits Oignons is a cosy restaurant renowned for its high standard of cooking at reasonable prices and in the middle of Méribel is La Taverne, a lively and atmospheric place with an innovative and extensive menu.

At the higher end of the scale, Chez Kiki is still the place to go for steaks as well as other meats cooked over an open fire. The highly-regarded Blanchot up at Altiport has both a traditional and modern restaurant which is also good for lunch. L'Ekrin is the Michelin-starred restaurant at the 5-star Hotel Le Kaila and offers exquisite gourmet dining in an intimate modern setting; its sister restaurant in the same hotel is the slightly better value brasserie Le 80.

In Mottaret Le Grenier serves good, no-nonsense French fare at reasonable prices and the cellar restaurant of Au Temps Perdu comes highly recommended. The Pizzeria du Mottaret offers a variety of first rate pizza and pasta dishes.

The Lodge du Village in Méribel Village is especially popular with families looking for good value and offers pizza and pasta dishes.
