Magnificent Mont Blanc Country Aodhan Boylan, Ski Specialist

"Les Carroz is a gem of a resort, which is becoming increasingly popular with British skiers. It's a small traditional French village with access to the world class Grand Massif ski area - what more could you want! After a day on the slopes, a vin chaud in Le Marlow is the perfect way to finish the day!"

Activities in Les Carroz

Non skiers have plenty of adrenaline-packed activities to do in Les Carroz such as paragliding, ice climbing, fat biking, quad bike driving on ice (in Flaine) or night time snowmobiling. Nocturnal 'snake' sledging, where several sledges are attached together in a line, is another activity on offer under the supervision of a guide - from 6pm.

For quieter activities, there are also dog sledding trips through the valley as well as snow shoe outings. The resort also has outdoor ice rink and sledging area suitable for families. Les Carroz's Aquacime centre has a heated outdoor pool, a wellbeing centre with sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi and a fitness centre.

There's a cinema in the village and a bowling alley in Flaine, including a specially adapted equipment for children as young as three.

Les Carroz has a weekly market on Tuesday mornings.
