Heart of the Tarentaise Valley Michael Bennett, Managing Director

"I can't speak highly enough about Les Arcs, having road tested the resort myself on successful family ski holidays. The Les Arcs ski area is huge with terrain to suit every standard plus there's also the option of skiing in La Plagne on a Paradiski lift pass. I'd recommend Le Village Arc 1950 for families - everything has been designed for convenience with ski schools, shops and restaurants close at hand plus a kids club and choice of swimming pools. "

Childcare in Les Arcs

Les Arcs is an incredibly popular destination for a family ski holiday and offers superb ski terrain for kids, plus some excellent childcare facilities.

Le Village at Arc 1950 has arguably the best childcare facilities of all the Les Arcs resort bases. The P'tit Cariboo Club offers childcare for children aged 9 months to 2 years with a selection of both indoor and outdoor (non-skiing) activities. The Cariboo Club for children aged 3 to12 years offers a range of activities which can be combined with ski lessons run by Spirit 1950 ski school. Full or half day options with or without lunches are available for all childcare options. As Arc 1950 is easily accessible from Arc 2000 using the Cabriolet gondola, these childcare facilities are also suitable for guests staying in Arc 2000.

There's also the option of private nannies and a number of companies operate in the area using English-speaking staff.
