Childcare in Avoriaz
Avoriaz is a very family-friendly resort and has a longstanding reputation for the quality and comprehensive nature of its childcare provision.
As the only fully car-free resort in France, the lack of traffic makes Avoriaz a safer environment than most and now facilities like the spectacular Aquariaz indoor water park make it a great option for families.
Children as young as six months old up to five years are accepted in the non-ski nursery (children under one year will only be accepted for half days).
Children aged three and older can sign up for fun ski school lessons combined with indoor play in the unique Village des Enfants which also caters for children up to the age of 16 as well as running a "parents' school" with lessons for adults.
Children from the age of four can take lessons according to the regular French national ski school model or choose from a range of different ski schools in Avoriaz.
If you have a budding young boarder, Avoriaz is possibly one of the best resorts to choose for your holiday as it's possible to give your young ones a taste for this sport at the unusually young age of 3 years in the specially designed Riglet park.
