Air Canada seating options

Air Canada has adjusted its free seating policy for all flight bookings made on or after 28 March 2017 for travel to Canada. For passengers travelling on selected economy flight tickets there is no longer a free seating policy and these passengers now have the option of either paying in advance for pre-assigned seating until 24 hours prior to departure, OR waiting until online checkin opens 24 hours before your flight departs to secure the free seat of your choice. Each seat is approximately £18 per person per flight. To allow you access to this functionality we need to take payment for the flight ticket element of your booking in full, and we will then issue your flight tickets. You then need to call Air Canada to make and pay for your specific seat requirements. The current functionality does not allow this process to be done on-line. Please check with us on 0131 243 8097 to establish if you have one of these selected economy flight tickets. Bookings in certain higher fares in economy, bookings with children and bookings in the Premium Economy and Executive First cabins are unaffected by this new policy. We will endeavour to make sure all passengers get the correct information pertinent to their specific flight booking(s) and will help with the process. We currently can’t make seating purchases on behalf of clients.
