A warm Canadian welcome with a continental twist: Mont Tremblant

North America?  Europe?  Which is better?  Well I’m not going to get into that right now – that’s a debate that requires a lot of time and probably a few drinks to help it along.  How about a compromise?  Tremblant is in the heart of French speaking Canada – a place with an identity all of its own but which takes influences from both Europe and Canada.

Tremblant doesn’t have the traditional cobbled streets and crooked farmhouses of St Martin de Belleville or Morzine, and it doesn’t have the fashionable bars and boutiques of Vail or Aspen, but it is purpose-built perfection with many coloured buildings that twinkle on the hillside giving it an almost Disney-esque appearance.
