I have had a very useful rest day today (6th March), mainly holed up in the Hotel room in Lucerne, Switzerland. I must admit I might have overstretched myself in terms of daily driving, the first 3 days were each over 8 hours, which is like back to back transatlantic flights – and I’m the pilot. Ski Independence are proud to be supporting Jamie Stevenson’s attempt to break a Ski World Record to ski 20 countries in 31 days. Jamie is raising money for Disability Snowsport Scotland and he aims to raise enough for a brand new sit ski.

Ski World Record: Raising Money for Disability Snowsport
One of the Ski Independence reservations team, Jamie Stevenson, is embarking on an incredible challenge in March of this year: to ski 20 different countries in just one month, break a Guiness Ski World Record and raise money for Disability Snowsport Scotland. As a fully qualified ski instructor there’s no doubt that he’s up to the challenge – he just has to hope his car and the sat nav are too!
