As the world celebrates the Royal engagement and bets are put on when it's going to be and what colour hat the Queen will be wearing, we're more interested in where William and Kate might go on honeymoon! If it's a March wedding, as some are predicting, then what's not to say that they won't take to the slopes. Both William and Kate are avid skiers, and whilst Klosters is their usual resort of choice, we thought that for their honeymoon they might choose somewhere a bit different. Here are our royal ski honeymoon suggestions:

Fairmont Banff Springs, Banff William and Kate would feel at home at the Fairmont Banff Springs, as it is designed in the style of a Scottish baronial castle. Located on the edge of Banff, the Royal couple would be able to escape the hustle and bustle of Banff town and relax after a hard day on the slopes in the spacious 1500ft Presidential Suite. From this opulent suite they will be able enjoy panoramic views of the Bow Valley, Spray Valley and Bow Falls whilst indulging in fine cuisine at their private dining table. The split-level living area offers a grand piano, a library and abundant space for the couple to curl up with their favourite novels and reminisce about their wedding. The St Regis Deercrest continues in this style, offering guests a private funicular to the Deer Valley ski base. The Luxury Suite, provides spacious accommodation overlooking groomed slopes and acres of towering pine trees. The suite has a very inviting lounge and entertainment area with a sofa, fireplace, and 40-inch LCD HD Television with a Denon® DVD Surround Sound Theater system perfect for William and Kate to hold some après drinks. Past highlights have included performances by Nigel Kennedy and the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra. Our honeymoon recommendation in St Moritz would the Kulm Hotel which is perfectly located in the centre of the resort and provides breathtaking views. Here they could relax in the Presidential suite, which is the quintessence of luxury whilst watching adrenaline fuelled athletes attempt the Cresta Run from the club house which is located in the Kulm Hotel. [caption id="attachment_1595" align="aligncenter" width="300"] Kulm Hotel Presidential Suite[/caption] Salzburgerhof, Zell Am See An Austrian honeymoon option, would be the sumptuous Salzburgerhof in Zell Am See. The stunning setting of Zell am See makes it an ideal location for a winter honeymoon. You can ice skate or simply walk across the frozen lake over to Thumersbach for a gluwein. There is also snow kiting, Nordic walking and sleigh rides. So as well as world class skiing and a whole host of winter activities, they could relive their university days with a few rounds on the Old Course in St Andrews on the hotel's indoor golf. With stunning views of the lake, and exquisite fine dining on offer, the Salzburgerhof offers a truly romantic getaway. Boasting one of the largest spas in France, William and Kate will be able to fully relax after their global wedding celebrations. Combining Alpine elegance  with state of the art facilities, this is a prime choice for a royal honeymoon. Rooms and suites are all individually decorated in themes of 'Alpine Chalet’, ‘Great North American Lodge’, ‘Scandinavian Spirit’ and ‘Contemporary'. The 'Alpine Chalet' is our favourite, located on the top floor of the hotel so providing excellent views of the mountains and resort.
