Canada Update 22nd November 2012
Great news – we managed to secure the Air Canada Early Booking offers for another few weeks. We’ve only got until the 15th December to book your Canadian ski holiday at the very best price.
Flights that serve Whistler, Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper, Fernie, Panorama, Big White, Silver Star, Sun Peaks and Tremblant are all on sale but availability is now pretty limited so you need to book fast!
We also have some great deals on accommodation with free nights and room upgrades, as well as heavily discounted lift pass deals.

Alberta Ski Resorts Open For Business!
We celebrated the official opening of Lake Louise & Sunshine Village ski areas today, with coffees, cakes and ski themed gingerbread biscuits in the Ski Independence office.
Thanks must go to Travel Alberta who very kindly provided all the treats, and here are a few photos of what was consumed this morning to fuel our day of work in the office!

Ski Independence Voted Best Specialist Operator – 2012
We are delighted to announce that Ski Independence has been voted Best Specialist Operator in the 2012 World Snow Awards which took place in Earls Court on Friday 2nd November.
A panel of judges from across the industry selected Ski Independence as the leading Specialist Operator in UK snow sports from among the shortlisted companies announced earlier in the year. The awards ceremony took place following the day’s events at the London Ski & Snowboard Show at Earls Court 2 exhibition centre. Henry Druce, editor of the Daily Mail Ski & Snowboard Magazine, kicked off proceedings to introduce the inaugural awards organised by VOS Media and handed over to comedian Marcus Brigstocke to announce the winners. The achievements of various resorts, companies and individuals were recognised in 25 different categories.

Big White Ski Resort Celebrates 50 Years
50 years is a superb landmark to reach and Big White is celebrating the achievement this coming winter. Jim Lloyd from Big White Ski Resort talks about his experiences over the last 50 years in this charming Canadian destination.
