The Skiing Elite Claire Erskine, European Product Manager

"I have a real soft spot for Lech. The stunning, traditional village provides access to an intermediate skier’s paradise and now linked to St Anton, there’s plenty of tougher skiing up for grabs! "

Activities in Lech

Alternatives to skiing include heli-skiing, ice skating, curling, horse drawn sleigh rides, snowshoeing and tennis. For a special treat why not pay a visit to the Strolz department store where they make made-to-measure ski boots by hand.

Ice Skating

Lech has a natural ice rink and at the Hotel Monzabon, there's also an indoor skating rink. So exchange those ski boots for some ice skates!

Horse-drawn Sleigh Rides

Sleigh Rides are always a popular activity for all ages. There are a few different sleigh ride operators in Lech, and bookings can be made locally with your hotel.

Snowshoeing

Why not go snowshoeing on a 2 ½ hr guided tour to experience the full beauty of the Winter landscape, or venture out after hours for a wonderful moonlit tour.

Sports Centre

Lech has a new 'sport park' including a gym, indoor tennis court, climbing and bouldering wall, bowling and a wellness area with saunas.

Tobogganing

In Lech you can have a go at floodlit tobogganing on the from Oberlech to Lech (1.2km) - great fun for all the family. Sleighs can be rented from the Oberlech mountain railway. The Small Trochanter in Zurs (behind the Hotel Edelweiß) offers lots of fun for littler guests.
