I grew up in Edinburgh, moving to St Andrews for university to study modern history and french. As part of my degree I spent a year working in France, improving my linguistic skills and deepening my love of French culture. Long uni summers meant I had plenty of opportunities to exercise my passion for travel, with one of my favourite memories being interrailing around Europe with friends. I have skied since I was 8, with Les Gets, La Clusaz, Zermatt and Breckenridge ranking among my favourite resorts.
Despite having lived in France, one my least favourite foods is a croissant!
What inspires you?
Listening to a good playlist always makes whatever you’re doing instantly more enjoyable.
What's your favourite resort, and why?
My favourite resort would have to be Les Gets, purely for the nostalgia attached to it. It was where I first skied abroad and experienced my first taste of delicious French alpine food.
My next trip:
I would love to travel around Japan. It seems to have it all- amazing cities, idyllic beaches, historic sites and, of course, snowy mountains.
