I was born in Italy and grew up surrounded by the Dolomites and after graduating in languages, I’ve spent many years travelling and working in different places around the world. Being away from my beloved mountains made me realize how lucky I was to have had the opportunity to grow up in such a natural paradise. If the scenery alone was not enough, please note I had the chance to go skiing every single day in the winter after school – and I did.

An interesting fact about yourself

Even though I was born in the mountains and have lots of crazy competitive skier friends, I’ve always been what I like to define a “social skier”. I like to take my time on the slopes making frequent breaks for drinks, meals, pictures and I’m a keen après-ski enthusiast. I think the slopes are the best place to meet new people!

What inspires you?

Food! Being Italian I am a natural foodie and I’ve discovered that the desire to try some particular, authentic or exotic food can be a great trigger to inspire the destination of my next adventure!

What’s your favourite resort, and why?

I would surely be biased to say that the Skiarea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta is my favourite so I’m going to say Chamonix. The resort had been on my bucket list for a long time and I finally ticked it off last year and I have to say it even exceeded my expectations! When in Cham (as the locals say), the Mont Blanc, the unreal colours of the glacier and the stunning peaks will just leave you speechless and the skiing is just as good as it gets: basically everything that looks white can be skied and there are no limits at all (at least for the most adventurous skiers).

Where’s your next trip to?

As you may have sensed from my description of Chamonix, I’ve fallen in love with the resort and I feel that one week was nowhere near enough time to discover this amazing ski area. So I’m all booked to go to Chamonix again in February but I’m also planning to squeeze few other cheeky weekends during the season to satisfy my craving.
