Keystone has a family feel pervading everything on and off the mountain. Disney Family Fun magazine rated Keystone one of its' top picks for family resorts.

The evening activities are endless, the tubing is excellent for those in a roller-coaster state of mind - a bit hairy but safe. Ice-skating takes place on a rink in the heart of the village ideally positioned by The Lodge at Keystone terrace bar, so that parents can enjoy a mulled wine whilst yelling - 'Yes darling you look marvellous!' - over their shoulders as their offspring proceed round the rink in a bambi-esque fashion. Splendid.

All the restaurants are family-friendly. Paisano's wins for atmosphere, food and service. Kickapoo Tavern is somewhere to take older children for a taste of the après-ski scene and a spot of fast food nosh. And the Great Northern Tavern brews it's own beer, served alongside food with a contemporary twist on chophouse staples.
