You heard it here first. endless space, high alpine terrain and now linked to moonlight basin with access to a total of more than 5,500 acres of terrain, making it the biggest ski are in the united states. Be one of the first! Big Sky’s own three peaks add up to 3,500 acres of fast and loose mountain fun. Moonlight Basin adds a further 2,000 acres to the mix. The Lone Peak Tram rises almost vertically to the craggy summit of Lone Mountain. At 11,166 feet this landmark towers over the surrounding wilderness. From here you can look out over Yellowstone National Park, and it is even possible to see the stunning Grand Teton Range over 80 miles away – home to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
