Murphy's is a beautiful chalet style bar close to the centre of Villars.

Moon Boot Lounge

A new addition to the apres ski scene in Villars, the Moon Boot Lounge is a wine & cocktail lounge located in the centre of Villars on the high street.

Le Ptit Chalet

Le Ptit Chalet, located on the market place opposite the railway station, is not to be missed and features live dj music and outdoor bar.

L'Arrivee

L’Arrivée is a small chalet style bar with terrace located right behind Eurotel.

Lunch On The Slopes

L'Etable

Definitely, a must do is l’Etable. This is a newly opened refurbished stable on Sodoleuvre/Gryon slope which features donkeys, geese & goats for your entertainment whilst dining!

Serving up local specialities, great selection of wines, lunch w wine and coffee/mineral around chf 40.-, light lunch & drink approx chf 20/25.-

Col de Bretaye

Easy to reach from both pedestrians and skiers (funicular terminal), reasonable prices of all range

Col de Soud

Famous for their home made crispy röstis topped with many different choice of garnishes, lunch chf 35 incl wine, water, coffee

Dinner On The Slopes

Dinner on the slopes isn't possible unless you organise a private train package. However, it is a popular choice for groups. Approximately chf 1200.- for a return private train journey. You can then indulge in a fondue menu in Col de Bretaye or Lake of Bretaye restaurants.

After eating you can enjoy a torchlite downhill ski. This is around chf 20.- per person which includes torches and security by professional instructors.

Peppino

This restaurant serves French and Italian cuisine, specialising in Alpine flower cuisine made of local herbs, plants, roots. 3 courses menu around chf 55.-,. Beautifully presented. Le Soleil, Chesières

Fine dining in a nice French/mountain brasserie style, 13points on Gault&Millau gastronomic guide. A 3 courses meal is approx chf 55.- / chf 75.-. 15 minutes walk on the high street or short shuttle 2 minutes transfer, distance about 2km from Villars centre.

Rotisserie des Alpes

The Rotisserie des Alpes is definitely a good choice, great perch fillets from the lake, steak tartare, choice of rostis, flamed roasted chicken (ask for cryogen show when serving it). Ideally located in the centre of Villars. They also serve cheese fondue. Price range chf 35 up to chf 55 for a 3 course dinner.

Hotel du Golf, restaurant “Feu de Bois”

Separate from hotel entrance, this recently renovated restaurant is ideal for a group and is centrally located. L’Escale, Barboleuse/Gryon

Nicely rustic chalet style decorated restaurant located at 3km away from Villars - a short 8 minutes taxi ride. Wide choice of pizzas, grilled meat, pastas, fajitas at very reasonable prices and good quality. Price range chf 28-chf 40 for a 3 course menu.
