Jamie Stevenson, Reservations Consultant

"Vallorcine is smaller and quieter than it's near neighbours in the Chamonix valley and has a friendly, laid-back charm that I love. The telecabine from Vallorcine accesses the Balme and La Tour ski area and you can take the train or bus to access Argentiere or Chamonix"

Après Ski in Vallorcine

Vallorcine is a quiet resort, perfect for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle. There are a few quiet bars and restaurants in the village.  Most guests tend to gather in either L'Arret Bougnette at the bottom of the piste or in the Le Buet bar.

For livelier après-ski you can spend an evening in neighbouring Argentière and take the train back to Vallorcine (15 minutes). You could also get to Chamonix,, only five minutes further away, easily enough and enjoy one of the busiest après ski destinations in the French alps with plenty of night clubs and even a casino.
