Valloire Ski Resort Information
The traditional, charming village of Valloire is the biggest resort in the Maurienne valley and lies at the foot of the famous Col de Galibier at the border of the Northern and Southern Alps. The ski area is made up of Le Sétaz, Le Crey and Valmeinier, offering 150km of skiing which cater for all levels of skiers. Valloire is North-facing and consequently has a particularly good snow record.
The Slopes

There are some nursery slopes near the village however more can be found up the mountain on Setaz and Crey du Quart.

The Valmeinier and Valloire area is best suited to intermediate skiers as more than 50% of the runs are of an intermediate level.
- Advanced

Experts will enjoy the mogul field down into Valmeinier 1500 which offers steep, challenging bumps, as well as the other black tree lined runs.
- Snowboarding

A boarder cross and terrain park above Valloire offer fun for snowboarders and there is plenty of good free riding runs.
