The main resort is Croisette, which is a horseshoe passage way of shops and bars. Here you will find the popular ‘The Sphere’ bar and ‘La Mousse’ which is an internet café with a pool table and more choice of beer than the rest of the Alps. There are a couple of nightspots in this part, ‘On the Rocks Café’, which has live music, and ‘The Passport’, which is the biggest club in the resort. The offers a variety of music on different nights.
The lowest part of resort (Preyerand) is the home of The Yeti; this is a Dutch bar which can pretty lively.
Dining in Les Menuires
Just above La Croisette and reached by a short walk is the L’ Etoile with tables around a giant fireplace. It has one of the region’s best chefs. The waiting staff dresses in traditional mountain costume adding a nice effect to the experience. In Reberty you will find Le K which is a gourmet restaurant in the Hotel Kaya. The lunches, right on the slopes, are an exceptional value and the presentation is a delight. Dinner here is also is a top-rated affair.
Again in Reberty is the Hotel L’Ours Blanc which is considered one of the best in Les Menuires, according to locals.
Another interesting addition to the Les Menuires dining options is the Baroc Cafe owned by the same chef that runs the Michelin-star Oxalys up in Val Thorens. The focus here is cutting edge experimental cooking at a high gourmet level.
Finally in Les Bruyeres you will find Les Sonnailles which serves excellent tartiflette, fondue and raclette together with grilled meats in a very traditional atmosphere complete with accordion music. Furthermore the owner's wife has an interesting collection of her paintings that create a unique atmosphere.
