Après Ski in Les Carroz

Les Carroz is not renowned for après ski but is does have some great ways to spend the evening off the slopes. La Vache Qui Ride is unique place whereby you are picked up from your accommodation and guided, on snowshoes, to a teepee up the mountain. Upon arrival at the teepee a fondue is made and the party begins.

In the village ‘The Marlow’ on the main place d ‘Ambience gets the latest sunshine and serves huge cocktails. Later in the evening La Pointe Noire, next door, starts to get busy with video, pool, and live bands. After midnight it time to head for Carpe Diem for cocktails and karaoke before making your way to Club 74 which is a typically French night club with lasers, cages and - bizarrely - a fish tank.

Dining in Les Carroz

A relatively new addition to the Grand Massif is the 'Igloo Village'. This is a new concept in outdoor winter time dining. With an Igloo restaurant, an ice bar and terrace, plus igloo and yurt accommodation for 2-6 people; this is your opportunity to experience a unique night out in Les Carroz. The Igloo village is installed by mid December in the Molliets area of the ski area.

In the village itself ’The Agora’ is a very popular and reasonably priced restaurant for both lunch time snacks and evening meals, situated directly in the town square. At the higher end of the market Les Servages is probably the most renowned with customers reputably travelling from Geneva to savour the Haute Cuisine. Nestled at the base of the last ski run into the village this restaurant is ideal for that special occasion or excuse for spoiling yourselves.

For something a little lighter the Crêperie Bretonne specializes in savoury and sweet traditional Savoyard crepes and galettes with numerous wonderful fillings for the serious pudding lovers. A good range of other typical French cuisine is also available in a cozy environment with open plan kitchen where you can watch and smell the food being prepared.
