France Chamrousse Ski Holidays

Chamrousse is a perfect family resort, ideally located only an hour from both Grenoble and Chambery airports and thirty minutes from Grenoble city centre.

Formerly an Olympic Village the pretty resort of Chamrousse has two ski areas, Recoin and Rocher Béranger providing ideal pistes for beginner and intermediate skiers and some excellent tree skiing for more the expert skiers. The resort is relatively small but has a selection of shops, restaurants and bars providing everything to hand.

Skiing in Chamrousse

Chamrousse is still relatively unknown to UK skiers. It is a fantastic ski resort, just waiting to be discovered, offering superb scenery in an excellent, but relatively uncrowded ski area. There are a good variety of slopes and almost 100km of piste, ideal for families, beginners & intermediate skiers.

Chamrousse is made up of three levels – Le Recoins (1650m), Chamrousse (1700) and Roche Beranger (1750m) – all linked by a free shuttle bus.
