Colin Brost, Director of Sales at Tourism Sun Peaks, sent in an inspirational video edit from the 2011/2102 season - we can't wait for next winter! We just released the new Sun Peaks video from the 2011/12 ski season and the production was the easiest it’s ever been! The copious amounts of snow along with an unprecedented number of bluebird days meant we could grab great video footage all season long. The music that goes along with it was written and produced by Rich Aucoin. We always strive to take things to the next level and in order to do so we invited Rich to Sun Peaks as part of our March Music Madness to perform a free live concert beside the Sundance Chairlift, you’ll see a couple of cameo shots included in the video: The 2012/13 season is shaping up to be another one for the record books. Summer “grooming” is back as a result of a reinstated Provincial Forestry Management initiative which has allowed our trail crew to improve and increase our gladed areas meaning next year we will have more trees to carve through. With Sun Peaks nearing 4,000 acres across the three mountains there’s enough diverse terrain to last a lifetime and the best part….all ski-in, ski-out and no crowds, no lift lines meaning more time on the snow. The closest you’ll come to another person is on the chairlift!
